I attended DOT Radio Operators Training School in Ottawa in 1973 when the school was across from the Governor General's residence and was an RO in YEV (VFA) for two years and operated both air and marine positions.

Dick Bullock was the SOS and an amazing code operator having come over from the RCS.

I left the service and became an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, a career that I am still involved in.
